Full Tun Farm

The only thing better than eating the food you grow, is being able to share it with friends. These were the ingredients to a scrumptous dinner we had on Friday night.  Enough for 5 lovely folk to enjoy.

We picked some rainbow chard, spinach and summer squash from Full Tun Farm’s crop today and a few apples from our tree.  Bow down to Mother Earth for this tasty dinner: Apple lentils with veggies sauteed in french onion soup

YUM

Dinner is served!  Our first meal produced by Full Tun Farm and The Garden of Weedin.  Spinach salad with apple, mango, tomato and basil.  Some tasty baked falafel on the side! So many great flavors we didn’t even bother with the salad dressing we had set out to use.

It was a special day at Full Tun Farm, we harvested the first veggie of the season.  Congratulations spinach, you are #1.  Randy, Connie and I nibbled on a few raw leaves tonight.

Dear Spinach,

You are crunchy and delicious.  I can’t wait to eat you for dinner tomorrow night.

xoxo,
